Credit score is the foremost basis when applying for a credit card, car loan and housing loan from most companies that require a credit check before granting any service, goods or products. What is a bad credit? Bad credit can be referred to the previous payment made by a customer which is determined from consecutive non-payments or when an account becomes delinquent. The credit bureau will keep a record of all your credit information and will be available to the creditor when they need to perform a credit check. There are 3 major companies that keeps track of all your credit report and these are: Transunion, Experian and Equifax.
How to know your credit score is if you have a poor, average or good credit score? 450-580 is poor credit. 580-680 is average credit and 680-750 is an A credit. Over 750 score, up to 850, is an A+ credit. If you have an A+ then you are doing fine and can be approved for most loans. Once you know your score, you will now have an idea to search the type of loan that will best fit your score.
Keeping a bad credit history may cost you a denial when getting a loan. It would be difficult for you to qualify for a loan because these record keeps on popping up during background checks in every financial move you make, from opening a new checking account or from shopping a new car. These records can no longer be changed or reversed. Perhaps only few alterations can be made if the information is found incorrect from your credit report. You can write to the companies you stayed with to have it removed.
Regardless of any company you choose to apply for a loan, having a bad credit history will put your loan application at risk or you cannot hope to get a loan at all. Having a good credit record will help you ease off the pressure and you will have better options to choose which company can grant your loan application for your needs.
Though tough times come in our lives and we experience financial difficulty, we must still find a way to manage our finances.
